Since I failed to make it to Kendo yesterday, I shall make up for it by displaying this video.

This video demonstrates with narration all ten Kendo kata. I think the drums are a nice touch, it really sets the mood. They use a lot of Japanese kendo jargon, but the video should still make some sense to the laymen.

The general purpose of these kata is to demonstrate skill and control with the swords. Also you practice various strikes and blocks.
